Solitude Charters: Accommodations and Crew

Cruise and learn on Transport Canada approved motor yachts. We have access to several.  Enjoy all the comforts of home while watching the spectacular coastal scenery of B.C. Here is a sample of the large types available a Selene 59', although I recommend training of vessels more suited to the students' needs, as will be applicable to their future personal purchase.

Delighful Accommodations

Tasteful, warm and cozy accommodations may include 1 or 2 double staterooms for  couples,  or 1 stateroom with 2 bunks and 1 stateroom with a queen size bed  , head (washroom) and shower.  We think of all the extras for you and provide linens, towels, life jackets. Please bring your own binoculars, soft sided luggage, space is at a premium. Accommodation for overnight trips is 4 to 6 persons. These vessels boast a complete galley (kitchen), dining area and meals cooked by both crew and students. Boats may be obtained on the mainland as well as on Vancouver Island.

During the day, take in the scenery on the bow while you practice your knots and conning or on the upper deck take the helm and hone your watch keeping skills. In the evening, relax in the lounge, where we have a full entertainment system to enjoy once you have completed your daily assignments.  These amenities differ with each vessel.
